A San Diego County Social Equity opportunity
San Diego Sun-Grown Cannabis
Where the plant meets its perfect climate, and legacy meets opportunity.
Sun-grown cultivation is now approved in San Diego County. We're building a vertically integrated cannabis operation from the ground up, and we're inviting the right partners and investors to build it with us.
San Diego County isn't just a place to grow cannabis. It's the ideal place, and right now is the ideal time.
Why San Diego
The numbers speak
San Diego County grows more plant variety than anywhere else in the United States. The same climate that built a $1.7 billion farm economy is the climate for sun-grown cannabis. Wine figured out that location matters, and now cannabis is catching up.
Sun-grown, open-air, and structurally cheaper than anything under a roof. Some farms fight their climate, but ours is on the payroll. Zero grow lights needed here.
Sun-grown, now approved
The framework is in place
After a two-year effort with San Diego County, sun-grown outdoor cannabis cultivation has been approved, creating a countywide framework for sun-grown farming while preserving the 600-foot state buffer from schools, daycares, parks, and places of worship.
The vote is done. The rules exist. The window is open. If it pencils in San Diego, it prints anywhere.
This is the moment a legacy agricultural region formally makes room for sun-grown cannabis, coast to desert, with roughly 40 miles of the best growing climate in the country.
A culture built for cannabis
This market already belongs to cannabis
San Diego is an agricultural powerhouse and a way of life. Surfing, skating, mountain biking, and an active outdoor culture that runs from San Diego's 70-mile stretch of beaches in Coronado, La Jolla, and Del Mar all the way to Borrego Springs in the desert.
That culture has always gone hand in hand with cannabis. This isn't a market we're introducing to cannabis. It's a market where cannabis already lives, woven into the fabric of everyday San Diego life.
In the field
This is what sun-grown actually looks like
No grow tents, no artificial light. Real soil, real sun, and a crew that has been doing this since before it was legal.
Straight from the field — unedited, un-staged.
Southern California
If it works here, it works everywhere
Southern California has launched some of the most iconic brands on the planet in apparel, skateboarding, and surfing. Brands that started right here and grew into global powerhouses. It's not just a launchpad. It's a proving ground.
We intend to build San Diego Sun-Grown Cannabis into that kind of brand: born in Southern California, built for the world.
The opportunity
A first-mover window that doesn't come twice
- Sun-grown cultivation was just approved. The market is forming right now.
- Social Equity applicants who are already approved have a 3-year head start before sun-grown cultivation (and every other cannabis license type) opens to the general public in San Diego County.
- As big business and venture capital retreat from cannabis, having underestimated the industry, the door is open for the legacy growers who never left.
The Social Equity advantage
One status. A fully integrated operation.
As a San Diego County Cannabis Social Equity approved applicant, Farmer Tom can stack multiple license types under a single status, and do it inside the three-year exclusivity window, before the general public can enter.
Cultivation
Sun-grown in San Diego's unmatched coast-to-desert climate.
Processing
Quality controlled from soil to sell.
Distribution
Ownership of the supply chain, end to end.
Delivery
Direct access to the legal California market.
This isn't a single-license play. It's a ground-up, vertically integrated structure built for long-term control and profitability.
About Farmer Tom
From seeds, to seats.
I've spent my working life in cannabis cultivation, genetics, and seed science. That work has earned federal recognition, and I currently work with a think tank that impacts federal reform.
Closer to the ground, I was part of the coalition that rewrote San Diego County's cultivation policy, opening the door to legal sun-grown production and making sure the people who carried the risk before legalization had standing in the market that followed.
I'm not new to this, and I'm not building toward a quick exit. I'm building a vertically integrated, sun-grown operation designed to still be running in twenty years.
I'm looking for partners who think on the same timeline.
Boom. Pow. TodayWeFarm. 🌱💨
